Extended Producer Responsibility Scheme & Free Shipping.
The never-ending overhead increases at the producer end continue to be, well, never ending. Particularly pertinent to ourselves is a little talked about but significant new Government scheme which comes in to force in April called the Extended Producer Responsibility scheme (EPR). The EPR, is a ‘Producer Pays Principle’ scheme which is essentially a tax on packaging to help cover the costs of the lifetime of the material. The costs are calculated by weight, and of course glass is heavier than aluminium cans.
In addition to the new and exciting taxes we are all experiencing, some small increases elsewhere mean we need to put the prices up a little. We’ve chosen to absorb some of the impending cost rises, but some we have to pass on.
One way we are trying to make this fairer on you, our valued customers, is to introduce free shipping on orders over £65. Simply put; any order that is to be delivered within the UK, after discounts have been added, over the value of £65 will not need to pay for any shipping on that order.

In the meantime we shall continue to make great beer for you, and for ourselves that you can purcahse from here.
