Spring Time Beers and International Festivals

Hello and welcome to our latest newsletter!

This month we are welcoming back an old friend. Looking forward to fun events and new releases, as well as May Bank Holiday updates

Witbier 4% - with orange peel and Indian coriander

A seasonal favourite and expertly brewed by Jonah. 

Our Witbier is beautifully light bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Hits of orange zest and coriander seed on the nose. A soft herbal bitterness coming through that rounds out to an almost citrus candy on the palate. 

A well rounded beer with a light spice from the Indian Coriander, that was sourced from our neighbours Spice Mountain, it has an refreshing exotic feel to it. The Orange Peel that is featured in this beer was also sourced locally from Spa Terminus Grocers. Then lovingly hand peeled by Jonah.

This iteration is well loved by the Spa Road Team and in Becky’s words - “Oh it’s so good!” and "So scrummy!"

The bottles of Witbier which are available on our Online Shop now, leans into the Orange / Fruit notes whereas the kegs, which can be found at our Spa Road Venue leans more into the coriander / spice notes.

Looking forward throughout May we have some launches coming up.

Keep your eyes peeled for our Extra Pale Ale which will be pouring on Keg and Spring Pale Ale which will be pouring on Keg and Cask. For our local friends, our Taproom will be pouring both beers this week.

We have another single hop mini series, this time we are showcasing Krush in Pale Ale and India Pale Ale. This will be available in bottles and kegs so keep an eye out for when they go live on our Online Shop.

And the biggie . . . . this one has been a long time in the making (literally) Oud Bruin is rumoured to be making an appearance this month.

Kaapse Brouwers 12th Anniversary     
On May 16th Kaapse Brouwers are celebrating their 12th anniversary and they've invited us along for the fun.
It will be held in their new venue on the Kaai, if you find yourself in Rotterdam you should come by and say hi.

Slurp! Spring Weekender                                                                             This one is very exciting, Duration are hosting their firs ever beer festival!                                                                 They have invited 16, of what they have called the very best UK breweries, (we are very honoured to be counted as one of them).                 Paris Beer Week                                                                              For 13 years, Paris Beer Festival has been the Île-de-France festival entirely dedicated to local, craft, and independent beer!                                                                                            We will be pouring at the Paris Beer Festival which will take place from the 30th-31st, if you're lucky enough to attend come and say hi!                                                                                                                                                                                     l'Atalante will be hosting a full Tap Take Over for us the day before the festival.

Get Bank Holiday Ready

We have two Bank Holiday weekends in May and as usual our Online Shop will not be operating on these days.

The Early May Bank Holiday:

We will be closed from 17:00 Friday 1st May until 08:30 Tuesday 5th May.

Spring Bank Holiday:

We will be closed from 17:00 Friday 22nd May until Tuesday 26th May.

We ask that you have your orders finalised by midday the Wednesday before the closure to ensure your order arrives in time.
